CNC machined parts can be processed from a variety of materials, including metals (such as aluminum, copper, and steel), plastics (such as nylon, ABS, and PC), and composite materials. Different materials have different physical and chemical properties, therefore requiring different machining processes and cutting tools. Taking nylon products as an example, nylon is an engineering plastic with good wear resistance, impact resistance, and corrosion resistance, widely used in the manufacture of various mechanical parts and structural components. When machining nylon products using CNC machining, a molding-grade machining process is required to ensure the dimensional accuracy and surface quality of the machined parts. Simultaneously, due to the high coefficient of thermal expansion of nylon, the effect of temperature on the dimensions of the machined parts must also be considered during processing.
