Tabel Elbow 45

Our Tabel Elbow 45 is a flange-to-flange 45-degree elbow designed for smooth flow transitions. Compared to 90-degree elbows, the 45° bend reduces fluid shock, pressure pulses, and local turbulence. The pipe diameter range is 6 mm to 60 mm. Flange faces conform to international standards. Bending angle tolerance is 45° ±0.3°, and flange face perpendicularity is ≤0.05 mm. Available flange standards include SAE J518, DIN 2633, and ISO 6162. Seal groove tolerance is +0.1/0 mm (ISO 3601-2). The 45° resistance coefficient is ~0.3, significantly lower than a 90° elbow (~0.9). Working pressure is up to 35 MPa (5000 psi). Salt spray test passes 500 hours. Temperature range is -40°C to 150°C.

The 45-degree bend offers only one-third of the flow resistance of a 90-degree elbow, reducing pressure loss and hydraulic shock. This is ideal for long piping runs or pressure-sensitive hydraulic systems. Flange connections ensure reliable sealing up to 35 MPa, depending on flange grade. Bolt hole patterns follow ANSI B16.5 with 4 or 8 holes evenly distributed.

Flange connections allow installation without rotating the fitting. Tabel Elbow 45 can use O-ring, spiral wound, or PTFE gaskets. SAE pressure ratings include 3000 psi and 6000 psi. Flange sizes match pipe diameters from 1/2 inch to 2 inches. Flange face flatness is within 0.05 mm, and surface roughness is Ra 1.6 μm, ensuring reliable sealing even under high pressure.

Use this elbow for hydraulic station outlet pipes, ship seawater cooling line turns, mining machine central lubrication lines, and industrial water circulation pump outlets.
